1) PROTEST WHEN PARLIAMENT DEBATES LIBYA
PROTEST: STOP THE BOMBING OF LIBYA
MONDAY 16 MAY 5PM
DOWNING STREET LONDON SW1 2AA
On Monday parliament will be debating the military intervention
in Libya. Claims that the war on Libya is humanitarian have been
exposed by missile attacks on the Gaddafi family’s residence and
by the thousands of refugees fleeing the onslaught whose plight
has been ignored by NATO.
MPs opposing the assault will be arguing that the attack on Libya
has clearly become a war for regime change and is therefore
illegal as well as disastrous for the Libyan people.
The intervention remains deeply unpopular here but it is vital
that we take the anti war argument on to the streets. If you can,
please join outside Downing Street. Jeremy Corbyn MP, ULU
President Clare Solomon, Bruce Kent, Lindsey German, Sami
Ramadani, Kate Hudson, NUS Black Students Officer Kanta Sasay,
and many more.

Islamophobia; and Hiba Aburwein from the European Forum on Muslim
Women.

but won reinstatement and is now a campaigner for legal rights
