Nurses Protest MedStar Hospital in Baltimore County, MD

On Wed. morning, Oct. 27, 2010, members of the National Nurses United staged a spirited protest action in front of the “MedStar Health” owned Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore County, MD. They raised concerns about “inadequate staffing” and “patient care problems” at the MedStar Health-owned Washington Hospital Center; and also the failure of the company [MedStar Health] to “negotiate a new contract,” at its D.C. facility with the nurses’ union, according to their press release.
