unless you have a better idea

first removing from power those who buy up our congress it cannot. It was the House of Representatives that just voted to eliminate Medicare, not the Senate (yet). Nor have I seen any evidence that my local government is any less bought and paid for. The problem starts further up the food chain than the senate. Unless you fix it at the root, you will not fix the problem of most of the nation's servitude.
