An Interview with Dr. Helena Hicks, a Civil Rights Icon

On February 7, 2012, I interviewed Dr. Helena Hicks at her home in West Baltimore. She discussed her role in the historic 1955 Civil Rights sit-in at Reads Drug Store, at Howard & Lexington Streets.
