Demonstration at FBI’s Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

By BillyClub - Posted on 28 September 2010

On Tuesday afternoon, September 28, 2010, a demonstration was staged in front of the FBI’s headquarters in Washington, D.C. The protest action was in response to recent “FBI raids and Grand Jury subpoenas,” which targeted the Antiwar Movement, according to the press release of the organizers. For background, see: CounterPunch and YouTube This video contains excerpts from today’s rally. A fuller version will be posted on Vimeo later this evening.

The Black American man who spoke immediately following the Code Pink speaker spoke GREATLY and he definitely makes it clear that his strongly stated words are truly from his heart, mind, intellect, beliefs, and principles; like a [whole] person should be.

That's not to say that the other people who spoke in this video clip aren't [whole], for they certainly seem to be and evidently are, albeit they might think [all] "9/11 Truthers" are crazy and/or liars, which is a less than whole view. But putting that important topic aside, these speakers all certainly seem to truly mean what they said. It's just that the Black American man spoke more strongly than the others in the video and I really appreciate this strength in words, thought, mind.

Re. the young woman at the end of the short version video:

She's evidently not thinking of the poor among activists, because she talks of activists being able to [hire] lawyers when and if the Police State or COINTELPRO State FBI come to raid an activist's residence, and poor activists surely can't afford lawyers.

So what can activists raided by the FBI in this way do for legal defense when too poor to be able to afford lawyers?

I wonder.

Re. the whole video:

It's [great] to see and hear Americans speaking like the people speaking in this video do or did.
