Brian Becker: “End The Wars!”

By BillyClub - Posted on 21 October 2010

On the National Mall, on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, in Washington, D.C., at the Lincoln Memorial, a massive “One Nation” rally was held. One of the issues that resounded with many of the activists present was this one: End the U.S. wars and occupations and bring the troops home. Brian Becker, National Coordinator for the ANSWER Coalition, made that case with me in an interview. He argued that the money wasted on “militarism,” should instead be put to use at home, “for jobs, housing and healthcare.” To learn more about the ANSWER Coalition, go to: ANSWER Coalition.

it's good to see the large number of people assembled together against war, economic racket, et cetera. It'd only be better if Washington pols aligned themselves with the sane people of the population.
