The intelligence analyst suspected of leaking US diplomatic cables is being held in solitary confinement
As Julian Assange emerged from his nine-day imprisonment, there were renewed concerns about the physical and psychological health of Bradley Manning, the former US intelligence analyst suspected of leaking the diplomatic cables at the centre of the storm.
Manning, who was arrested seven months ago, is being held at a military base in Virginia and faces a court martial and up to 52 years in prison for his alleged role in copying the cables.

i wrote in the Comments Sec of the WaPo's excellent article on our Intelligence Agencies by Dana Priest and William Arkin that i know Torture is legal, it was sanctioned by Bybee and Yoo and carried out like it was SOP - bragged about by the virtual torturer him self GW Bush and his side kick Dick but it doesn't appear in the "Human Intelligence" category or the Companies who carried it out and where?
It seems that Torture is an important tool and it should be revealed in this WaPo Report but i don't find it anywhere? Perhaps in their next big Expose eh?
UN looking into WikiLeaks suspect's treatment
And, here's an excellent article on the subject from Truthout! The Torture of Bradley Manning!
These articles are probably better, since the above one is from the Guardian, UK, a corporate news and "news" media. I haven't read these, yet, only having bookmarked them, but what I have read about Glenn Greenwald's article or articles is that he includes an explanation about the seriously harmful psychological consequences of or due to the kind of treatment that Bradley Manning's been put through for several months now and continues to be put through. That's since last May, I believe.

First, Biden said the leaks aren't dangerous for the US and then, on the very next day, said the opposite, contradicting himself. He's evidently in need of psychological evaluation and treatment.
