On Monday afternoon, Aug. 6, 2012, a demonstration was held in down town Baltimore. Social Justice activists called a "Unity March and Rally," to spotlight police brutality and abuse, to demand jobs and to say "No" to the closing of recreation centers and fire houses. The rally started at the Shot Tower, moved pass the Police Department H/Q and ended at the City Hall Plaza. This event was sponsored by: Baltimore Peoples Assembly. Two of the activists were arrested for trespassing inside the City Hall.
