We need a transcript of the John Conyers "Downing St Memo" forum 6/16/05.

There was a wealth of incredibly well formed argument in that little watched forum. There was also a breadth of discussion from the failure of Congress, to illegal bombing of Iraq before the war, to chronology of the lie to the legal case for impeachment.

Literally none of these subjects or quotes appeared in the media.

A transcript needs to be available for two reasons: to pull selected quotes from to send to media to reveal the pattern of media coverup of this historic meeting, and to provide a platform of talking points to keep alive the breadth of issues raised in that meeting.

This meeting was an example of Congress doing its job.

It has been buried in the press, and no larger body of evidence of media coverup exists than to organize the quotes of persons at that meeting that spoke to subjects vital to our democracy, and to allow the public to see for themselves, how these important matters are being buried.

It also directly counters and answers the media posed question, "what's new in this memo"?

Few people will learn about what the Downing Street minutes have to say and their implications by logging on to afterdowningstreet.org. Millions could be exposed to and forced to confront these horrible truths if MSN.com, Yahoo.com, CNN.com, etc. would prominently place this story on their respective home pages. These sites have feedback links. Use them. Tell any site not prominently placing this story on their site that they are woefully neglecting their duty to keep the people informed.

Please advise me how to contatct midea for more exposer of the Downing Street memo.
Regards,
Jon

On www.congress.org, you can select Media (http://www.congress.org/congressorg/dbq/media/) and write up to five outlets at once. Arianna Huffington has a great article on salon.com w/stats on coverage of Downing St. Memos. I used it to write nbc, msnbc, cnn, cbs, and ABC does not have a link from congress.org - you can write them at: netaudr@abc.com. Here's my letter:

You should know why I no longer subscribe to cable and no longer watch network news. I wanted news on the obvious grounds for congressional investigation of the administration and of Conyers' efforts to start this investigation being stymied by Republican reps, but I got what's below instead, and I won't watch again until this changes. Here's a statistical explanation, laid out by Arianna Huffington in Salon.com (and CNN, what is your fetish with MJackson -633 segments!?):

Here are the number of news segments that mention these stories (from a search of the main news networks' transcripts from May 1 to June 20):

-- ABC News: Downing Street memo: 0 segments; Natalee Holloway: 42 segments; Michael Jackson: 121 segments.

-- CBS News: Downing Street memo: 0 segments; Natalee Holloway: 70 segments; Michael Jackson: 235 segments.

-- NBC News: Downing Street memo: 6 segments; Natalee Holloway: 62 segments; Michael Jackson: 109 segments.

-- CNN: Downing Street memo: 30 segments; Natalee Holloway: 294 segments; Michael Jackson: 633 segments.

-- Fox News: Downing Street memo: 10 segments; Natalee Holloway: 148 segments; Michael Jackson: 286 segments.

-- MSNBC: Downing Street memo: 10 segments; Natalee Holloway: 30 segments; Michael Jackson: 106 segments.

Sincerely,

I was jumping with joy watching David Gregory (filling in for Chris Matthews) interviewing the Brit who broke the DSM. This reporter was offering context for the memo(s) and the legitimate questions raised by them. It was a good piece of reporting.

But then I could almost hear the collective sigh of the producers, and their reassuring whispers to each other - "Don't worry, we've got both the closing arguments" - as David Gregory announced, "When we come back, we'll be joined by former UN weapons' inspector David Kay and former CIA Director James Woolsey."

Are you kidding me? They follow good reporting with Kay (who, even though he admitted they got it wrong, staunchly defended Bush right down the line), and Woolsey (of the PNAC crowd)?

Where was Scott Ritter, or Ray McGovern, or even Richard Clarke? How can any broadcast, in good conscience, follow a devastating piece of reporting by giving the spin to TWO apologists working for the same team? Or maybe I'm giving MSNBC too much credit concerning conscience.

It got so ridiculous that the pundits even threw out the notion that "fixed" doesn't mean the same thing in Britain (despite the fact that the reporter had just told us EXACTLY what it meant), as if we cannot comprehend that foreign language. Good grief.

Seriously, I want to throw up.

The Betterbadnews panel examine the downing street minutes in
a 2 minute video clip titled:

"AMINISTRATION CHOKING TO DEATH ON SMOKING GUN. WAR DEAD MUM ON DOWNING STREET MINUTES"

http://www.betterbadnews.com

If any one is interested in a story that TREMENDOUSLY lends itself to the Downing Street Minutes story, let me know and I will be happy to send you a 30minute interview of a former Pentagon official who witnessed firsthand how Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Cheney, (and the neoconservatives) knowingly and deliberately created false intelligence to support their pre-existing plans to go to war. The footage was shot about 2 years ago, yet it is completely in sync with the revelations of the Downing Street Memo, Richard Clarke's story (that the administration was looking for war rationals immediately after 9/11) and so many other facts.

The video footage is from a film I purchased, titled "Hijacking Catastrophe" and the interview is with Karen Kwiatkowski. The film was released almost 2 years ago and only appeared in a few small theatres. I was fortunate to live in the only town in the state of Washington that hosted the film, and by mere chance I stumbled across the film, then bought a copy.

I spoke with the production company and the producers gave me the okay to distribute "Fair Use" copies of the interview, at no charge. If you are interested please let me know and I will send you a CD-ROM of the video ASAP. I'll even pay the shipping costs.

This story needs to be heard...

To my knowledge Karen Kwiatkowski's story has received little to no press attention, except an article in Salon a long time ago. Following is a except from the Salon article (which I copied from the "Timeline 1" link on afterdowningstreet.org)

I STRONGLY recommend everyone watch this video, here is a quick glimpse of some of what Karen talks about in her interview:

May 2002 Karen Kwiatkowski says:
"From May 2002 until February 2003, I observed firsthand the formation of the Pentagon's Office of Special Plans and watched the latter stages of the neoconservative capture of the policy-intelligence nexus in the run-up to the invasion of Iraq... I saw a narrow and deeply flawed policy favored by some executive appointees in the Pentagon used to manipulate and pressurize the traditional relationship between policymakers in the Pentagon and U.S. intelligence agencies. I witnessed neoconservative agenda bearers within OSP usurp measured and carefully considered assessments, and through suppression and distortion of intelligence analysis promulgate what were in fact falsehoods to both Congress and the executive office of the president. (Salon)

Peace,
Brian

wheels777@msn.com

PS The production company is interested in putting the video online, but they do not have the resources to do so. Does anyone know of a website or someone who might be willing to host the interview online? If so, please contact me soon. I am awaiting a reply from the folks at this site (afterdowningstreet.org), but figure that the more sites we can get this video on the better. Thanks. Please contact me with any ideas or contacts.

Hey Wheeler

Sounds great. Try www.tomflocco.com
He is carrying Loose Change, the latest documentary I have just ordered about 9/11 that will raise your hair.

Also 9/11 in Plane Site is being carried on various websites.
I just got mine from www.powerhour.com

Search out Marvin Bush and 9/11 sites...
Brother Marvin was in charge of security at the WTC and the airlines.
Loose change covers awesome info on the "demoliton" of the trade
centers; the biggest insurance heist in history along with the
whole bloody stage play:o(.

There is news coverage by CNN never to be heard of again elsewhere,
saying thats no commercial airliner...it has no windows, and there is a blue insignia or circle on the front of the plane. Looked more like a cargo plane. Then there is the Pentagon and no plane wreckage of a commercial airliner. Awesome stuff...We need to get our own TV station to get in front of the computer illiterates and those that might watch like some of us watch cable wondering why. Oh, I know,
Jon Stewart is good for a little comedy relief to maintain semblance of sanity.

Still hangin in...with best wishes always.

We deserve to know the truth

All Americans deserve to know the truth about the Downing Street memo and related documents, but loved ones of our soldiers in Iraq especially deserve to see extensive coverage on these important documents. There is no more important question in a democracy than whether the people and their representatives have been misled about the justification for a war.

A memo drafted by constitutional attorney John Bonifaz and available at www.AfterDowningStreet.org begins: "The recent release of the Downing Street memo provides new and compelling evidence that the president of the United States has been actively engaged in a conspiracy to deceive and mislead the United States Congress and the American people about the basis for going to war against Iraq. If true, such conduct constitutes a High Crime under Article II, Section 4 of the United States Constitution."

Please ask yourselves whether each item you are reporting on is important enough to take up space that should be devoted to this question.

Dear Mr. Getler:
Please add my voice to the "several" who wrote you to complain about the WP's blackout of the Conyers hearings. At the time of the Conyers hearing, I watched on CSPAN, which thought it was enough of an event to broadcast live and to rebroadcast on Friday night prime time. Afterward I checked "Google News" and noted that the event was featured in the lead, top right hand news hole. So according to Google it was the most newsworthy event occurring in the world at that time. I recorded from Google the list of the first 100 (out of a total of 384) news media reporting it, which I am reproducing at the end of this email. The WP entry is shown as "19 hours ago" and does not report the Conyers hearing but rather is only the AP story from the day before reporting that the hearing was going to take place. Over the next several days I continued to check the WP search function and was incredulous never to find an actual news report. I realize that even as ombudsman you cannot bite the hand that feeds you, but I respectively suggest that you remind your editors that the WP is, or should be, the newspaper of record for events occurring in the nation's capital. A humorous opinion column or two about the atmospherics of the Conyers hearing (the WP search engine also turns up the column "From Ridiculous to Sublime," by Howard Kurtz) does not provide a "record" of the event. Even if white sheets had to be draped over folding tables, the event was newsworthy, yet by your own admission it never made the WP news columns. I am doing everything I can think of to express my outrage over the WP's bias on the Iraq war. I cancelled my subscription and told the circulation department, in writing and by telephone, exactly why. I continued to purchase the Sunday edition on the newsstand, but now I refuse to do even that (at my own sacrifice, because I am a newspaper hound and have always derived pleasure from the Sunday edition in particular). Yes, I still read the WP on the Internet, and yes, I love Tom Toles. Were it not for egregious, over-the-top war-mongering actions such as those generating this letter I would continue to subscribe. Thank you for reading this letter.
Sincerely,

Sincerely,

So, where the hell is the so-called liberal media? The fact is it doesn't exist. Good luck trying to find it on the AM dial. Fox News & others has been pounding it into their viewers heads for sometime now about the existence of this liberally biased media, clearly they lie otherwise Haliburton's no bid contract's(no conflict of interest there) would have been frontpage news. The Downing Street Memo should be talked about every night on the news. I conclude that this is just more of the same...LIES & cunning manipulation of the facts.

Air America is just what the doctor ordered. Al Franken also has a show on Sundance channel.

Liberal Media?

It's laughable when the right suggests that the media is liberal when we know (and they know) that conservative governments inject huge cash flows into media companies. It has always been, and always will be, about money. And to deflect criticism of what is obvious, or should be obvious to most people, they complain of left wing media.

Respond with factual evidence, not just accusations that hold not water.

Farenheit 9/11 won the Peoples Award;

BUT search the latest documentary: Loose Change
With actual footage of 9/11 with media reports never to be heard

And another: 9/11 in Plane Site.
Take a look at photos in Time, or newspaper photos with the so-called
attack on the Pentagon...no wreckage even resembling the size much less the carcass of a commercial airliner.
OH, a little more food for thought...Look up Marvin Bush, the silent little brother of the resident. Its ALL SLIGHTLY OVERWHELMING.

If you liked Fahrenheit 9/11 you/ll LOVE this, almost makes dear Michael look like a dilletante. BRILLIANT 3 hour BBC Documentary by Andy Curtis, shown across the pond January this year, also by special request at Cannes Film Fest. Caught it at local "art house" last night here in SF, so it's making the rounds. Watch out for it.

What the media has done to itself is by far the most interesting long term story. They have lost their reader and viewer. I no longer watch Good Morning America, the Today show, the evening news shows. It isn't worth it for me. I don't get the news. I go to the internet for my news. I can go to other country sites to get their side of things. I can read the Nation, the New Yorker, the NYTimes, Mother Jones, Counterpunch, David Corns blog, Raw Story, the Today in Iraq blog, the Dahr Jamail blog, this blog and on and on and on. I can watch Democracy Now for real indepth news. They cover the news of the people. They cover news I won't see anywhere else. Great show.
The media has destoryed their value. What I learned from this era was what I wasn't learning from the news.

Comcast and Time Warner are trying to further consolidate their
regional

and Big Cable Company #2 (Time-Warner) will gobble up Big Cable Company
#3 (Adelphia), and the two remaining cable giants will control over 50%

Aug. 22, 2005 issue - The grieving room was arranged like a doctor's office. The families and loved ones of 33 soldiers killed in Iraq or Afghanistan were summoned to a large waiting area at Fort Bragg, N.C. For three hours, they were rotated through five private rooms, where they met with President George W. Bush, accompanied by two Secret Service men and a photographer. Because the walls were thin, the families awaiting their turn could hear the crying inside.

President Bush was wearing "a huge smile," but his eyes were red and he looked drained by the time he got to the last widow, Crystal Owen, a third-grade schoolteacher who had lost her husband in Iraq. "Tell me about Mike," he said immediately. "I don't want my husband's death to be in vain," she told him. The president apologized repeatedly for her husband's death. When Owen began to cry, Bush grabbed her hands. "Don't worry, don't worry," he said, though his choking voice suggested that he had worries of his own. The president and the widow hugged. "It felt like he could have been my dad," Owen recalled to NEWSWEEK. "It was like we were old friends. It almost makes me sad. In a way, I wish he weren't the president, just so I could talk to him all the time."

I was just watching CNN (the so called liberal media) and they said that alot of news has not been reported on in the last month because of the hurricane news and that they were going to bring everyone up to date. They didn't say anything about the massive peace rally in Washington,D.C. or London. People tell me that it wasn't covered because of Rita but I thought how many video cameras and reporters does the media have? They could still manage to have people covering what was going on in Iraq, etc. so why couldn't they cover a major occurence in their own country?

Recycled in the media and largely left unanswered are several core issues regarding Iraq: 1) Establishing an exit strategy 2). An ill-defined mission 3). Inconsistencies in the administrations storyline 4). The administration fixing intelligence and facts around “policy.

I was in a lot of rallies at URI. In 1967, I was chair of the Faculty Senate and there were students protesting, storming the senate. Another time, Nixon and Agnew were calling college students "bums."

The Republican White House Bums

On October 10, 1973, Agnew became the second Vice President to resign the office. Unlike John C. Calhoun, who resigned to take a seat in the Senate, Agnew resigned and then pled nolo contendere (no contest) to a criminal charge of tax evasion, part of a negotiated resolution to a scheme wherein he allegedly accepted $29,500 in bribes during his tenure as governor of Maryland. Agnew was fined $10,000 and put on three years' probation. He was later disbarred by the State of Maryland. His resignation triggered the first use of the 25th amendment, as the vacancy prompted the appointment and confirmation of Gerald R. Ford as his successor. It remains one of only two times that the amendment has been employed to fill a Vice Presidential vacancy. The other time was when Ford chose Nelson Rockefeller to succeed him as Vice President. Ford hadn't been Nixon's first choice, however. Nixon's top three choices were the former Texas Governor John Connally, New York Governor Nelson Rockefeller and California Governor Ronald Reagan. Nixon thought Connally was too unpopular, and Rockefeller and Reagan unlikely to be confirmed by both Houses of Congress.

Agnew had been widely expected to succeed Nixon as the Republican Party's presidential nominee in the 1976 election before the Watergate scandal broke out. Agnew had always blamed Nixon for releasing the accusations of bribes and tax evasion in order to divert attention from the growing Watergate scandal that was engulfing Nixon's administration. As fate would have it, Nixon was forced from office but Agnew's earlier resignation and criminal charges ruined his hopes of becoming President. The two men never spoke again, although Agnew did attend Nixon's funeral in 1994.

WASHINGTON – President Bush yesterday vigorously defended his decision to permit domestic spying without court approval, calling the eavesdropping program essential to the war on terrorism and denying that he was assuming "dictatorial" powers.

WHISTLEBLOWER AFFIDAVIT: Programmer Built Vote Rigging Prototype at Republican Congressman's Request!
CLAIM: Rep. Tom Feeney (R-FL) Asked Company to Create E-Vote Fraud Software!
*** A BRAD BLOG EXCLUSIVE! PLEASE CREDIT! ***

In stunning revelations set to rock the vote from Tallahassee to Capitol Hill -- and perhaps even a bit further up Pennsylvania Avenue -- a Florida
computer programmer has now made remarkable claims in a detailed sworn affidavit, signed this morning and obtained exclusively by The BRAD BLOG!

http://www.buzzflash.com/alerts/04/12/images/CC_Affidavit_120604.pdf

The programmer claims that he designed and built a "vote rigging" software program at the behest of then Florida Congressman, now U.S. Congressman, http://www.tomfeeney.com Republican Tom Feeney of Florida's 24th Congressional District. Clint Curtis, 46, claims that he built the software for Feeney in 2000 while working at a sofware design and engineering company in Oviedo, Florida (Feeney's home district).

Curtis, in his affidavit, says that as technical advisor and programmer at http://yangenterprises.com Yang Enterprises, Inc. (YEI) he was present at
company meetings where Feeney was present "on at least a dozen occasions". Feeney, who had run in 1994 as Jeb Bush's running-mate in his initial unsuccessful bid for Florida Governor, was serving as both corporate counsel and registered lobbyist for YEI during the period that Curtis
worked at the company. Feeney was also concurrently serving as a Florida state congressman while performing those services for YEI. Feeney would eventually become Speaker of the Florida House before being elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2002. He is now a member of the U.S. House Judiciary Committee.

At an October 2000 meeting with Feeney, according to the affidavit and BRAD BLOG interviews with Curtis over the past three days, Feeney inquired whether the company could build a "vote fraud software prototype".

At least three YEI employees are said to have been present at that meeting; Curtis, company owner, Mrs. Li Woan Yang, and her executive secretary, Mike Cohen. Two other YEI employees may have come in and out at different points of the meeting according to Curtis.

Curtis says that Feeney "was very specific in the design and specifications required for this program. "He detailed, in his own words, that; (a) the
program needed to be touch-screen capable (b) the user should be able to trigger the program without any additional equipment (c) the programming to accomplish this needed to stay hidden even if the source code was inspected."

Though there was no problem with the first two requirements, Curtis explained to the Congressman that it would be "virtually impossible to hide such code written to change the voting results if anyone is able to review the uncompiled source code"Nonetheless, he was asked at the meeting by Mrs. Yang to build the prototype anyway.

Curtis, "a life-long Republican" at the time, claims that it was his initial belief that Feeney's interest was in trying to stop Democrats from using "such a program to steal an election". Curtis had assumed that Feeney, "wanted to be able to detect and prevent that if it occurred."Upon delivery of the software design and documentation on CD to Mrs. Yang, Curtis again explained to her that it would be impossible to hide routines created to manipulate the vote if anybody would be able to inspect the precompiled source code.

Mrs. Yang then told him, "You don't understand, in order to get the contract we have to hide the manipulation in the source code. This program
is needed to control the vote in South Florida."
[emphasis in affidavit]Mrs. Yang then took the CD containing the software from Curtis, reportedly for later delivery to Feeney.

In other meetings with Feeny prior to the 2000 elections, it became clear to Curtis that Feeney had plans to suppress the vote in strong Democratic precincts. In the affidavit, Curtis claims that in those meetings Feeney had "bragged that he had already implemented 'exclusion lists' to reduce the 'black vote'." Feeney also mentioned that "proper placement of police patrols could further reduce the black vote by as much as 25%." Curtis says that he submitted his resignation to YEI effective December 2000, but stayed on until they had found someone to replace him in February of 2001. He eventually became employed by the Florida Dept. of Transportation (FDOT) after leaving YEI.

But the scandals didn't stop there. In May of 2001, while at FDOT, Curtis and another FDOT employee, Mavis Georgalis, discovered and then reported several allegations to the Inspector General at FDOT concerning over-billing by YEI -- who had been an FDOT contractor -- and software that was never delivered by the company. Allegations also included the employment of a suspected illegal alien, Mr. Hai Lin Nee, who worked as
YEI's "quality control" manager. Both Curtis and Georgalis were reportedly harassed after filing their complaints about malfeasance at YEI and
pressure mounted on the FDOT -- purportedly from the powerful Feeney who was still working with YEI -- to have them both fired.

In November 2001, after Curtis filed his complaints at FDOT, both he and Georgalis' were subsequently sued by YEI "in retaliation" for their complaints against the company. The charge was "theft of intellectual property", which Curtis has catagorized as "ridiculous" in interviews,
because the "intellectual property" in question was, in fact, software that FDOT had long ago paid YEI to develop for them.

YEI was represented in the lawsuit by Congressman Feeney's law firm. When the two had sought help from FDOT in fighting YEI's suit against them, they were told that FDOT couldn't help them because FDOT had not been named in the suit. After several rounds of court battles, Georgalis was finally successful in having FDOT added to the suit as a third co-defendant. The suit was originally filed in Seminole County, but moved to Leon County upon the addition of FDOT.

In April of 2002 -- on the very same day -- Curtis and Georgalis were both fired by FDOT without explanation. The Daytona Beach News-Journal reported extensively in 2002 on the case. They reported at the time that Curtis had written to the Inspector General at FDOT to inquire why no investigation had yet been made into YEI. As well, Curtis had contacted the Florida Bar, since Feeney was a member, to inform them that "Feeney has used his position to promote the profits of Yang Enterprises, from whom he received compensation under the guise of lobbyist and attorney."

According to The Orlando Sentinel in 2001, of 160 Florida congressmen, Feeney was the only known registered lobbyist. He would later be cleared of all ethics violations brought against him in the Florida house on these matters by the Ethics Committee which included four Republicans appointed to the committee by Feeney. Curtis was never interviewed by the Ethics Committee concerning his allegations. After Curtis and Georgalis were fired by FDOT, each attempted to file "Whistleblower Suits" in the state of Florida. Georgalis' suit was successful and FDOT was eventually ordered, after lengthy court battles, to reinstate her with full back-pay by the circuit court. Curtis' suit was not successful due to having missed the filing deadline for the suit.

That suit, filed over three years ago, is still pending. The reason, explained Curtis, is that YEI has since avoided all defendants attempts to depose company employees in the case.

By May of 2002, the FDOT had finally taken up the investigation into malfeasance by YEI.

In one particularly chilling paragraph in the affidavit, Curtis explains what became of Raymond Lemme, the inspector at FDOT who was said to be
pursing the allegations against YEI, Tom Feeney and the other reported matters:

" [I]n June of 2003, he told me that he had tracked the corruption 'all the way to the top' and that the story would break in the next few weeks and I would be satisfied with the results. A few weeks later, on July 1st, Mr. Lemme was found dead with his arm slashed in a hotel room in Valdosta, Georgia." The death was ruled a suicide by the Valdosta Police. The BRAD BLOG has obtained and is currently reviewing many official documents related to Mr. Lemme's death.

Mr. Hai Lin Nee, "the ilegal alien" who had worked at YEI and was reported by Curtis, was arrested in March of 2004 on espionage charges which
included "shipping radar guidance system chips for Hellfire Anti-Tank Missiles to a company in Communist China."Curtis discussed in detail,
during our interviews, Mr. Nee having placed "wiretapping modules" into software code created by the company. The secret "wiretapping modules", Curtis claims, were to download information from programs built by YEI for contractors, and then either copy or send that information via Email back to YEI. Such software, Curtis claims, was created for companies such as NASA with whom YEI held substantial contracts.

According to both the Curtis affidavit and email dated November 22, 2004 obtained by The BRAD BLOG, YEI is currently under investigation by the FBI.

That information was sent to Curtis after he had attempted on several occassions to notify law enforcement authorities of his seemingly
remarkable story of espionage, possible vote tampering and other ethical concerns.

In July of this year, in an email we've reviewed which purports to be from a current YEI employee whose name we are withholding, Curtis was sent the following message in regard to a book that the employee had learned Curtis was working on:

They know about the book. You should not have sent it to a bush supporter. They are going crazy...like they weren't after you already. So I get to warn you AGAIN. They will do everything thwey [sic] can to keep it from getting published. They are also going to try to take you out again. Don't be alone. They specifically want to limit casualities to just you. As long as they can't catch you alone they won't touch you. You are such a loser........Moi

In what he describes as "an attempt to get this story out there", Curtis told part of the tale on a website, http://www.justaflyonthewall.com/ where he has changed the names of some of the specific parties involved. (e.g. "Wong" is substituted for "Yang" on the site) Additional charges by Curtis also include that databases and information were routinely sent by Mrs. Yang to her brother in China who, Yang had told Curtis on one occasion, had previously been deported for "being a spy".

The BRAD BLOG has not yet been able to confirm the espionage charges concerning Mrs. Yang's brother.Curtis' affidavit is being turned over this afternoon to staffers at the U.S. House Judiciary Committee. An investigation into Curtis' story is pending.

While we've been working on this story for several days in order to get it right, we had hoped to hold it a bit longer to confirm a few more of the
details. As well, we had hoped to allow the Judiciary Committee and others time to comment before making this story widely available.

However, as of late Sunday night, Curtis' story has been reported elsewhere on the Internet http://www.onlinejournal.com/Special_Reports/120604Madsen/120604madsen.html by Wayne Madsen. His detailed account references an older, very short affidavit that Curtis had made in regards to the information contained in a self-published book on some of these matters. While Madsen's article was independently researched and reported -- and offers some very good detail in relation to Curtis, YEI, FDOT and Feeney, much of which that we can confirm -- he then ties those stories to a much grander CIA/Bush family conspiracy. While we have looked somewhat cursorily over the last several weeks into some of the larger matters which Madsen discusses, and has been reporting on for some time, we cannot confirm any of those grander details as playing any part in this particular story. While his claims may be true, The BRAD BLOG has seen no evidence to support them as being related to the Curtis story at this time.

Frankly, we find the information related in Curtis' sworn affidavit, and via our interviews with him and others directly related to his story to be
rather stunning as is, and we will stand by our reporting of those matters at this time.

Given the importance of the many allegations in his story if they are true -- and we have so far been unable to identify any major holes or
discrepancies in his information -- we thought it necessary to release the full details contained in this sworn affidavit immediately so that Curtis'
story and the explosive allegations contained therein could be more accurately assessed.

Does anyone know "the rest of the story"????

Hi!
Without taking into account the issue of establishing a stone by God, which he won't be able to pick up, how do you think, may be something in this world, what can God never see?
